Remember me?

I believe that is my extremely handsome husband, the Green Knight!

A startlingly accurate portrayal, I might add.

Remember you?! I shall never forget you! Your hideous image is emblazoned in my dreams and each night as I lay down next to thy fair queen, I see your beastly face, those beady eyes, that ghastly beard, those rounded hands clutching a lopsided axe! And the way that your never-ending shoulders lead down your ever diminishing torso, towards your tiny waist and stick-like legs! AHHH, the horror! And lastly, that anemic dog-beast that you sit atop looks to strain under the pressure of your unsightliness.

But you know...nice to see you again and all!

I do believe this is a good, noble image of all my greatness. Ah, it brings me great joy to see the wonderful homage that my peers pay me in the midst of the crowd. No nobler picture have I set my eyes on. Thank you to all you knightly gents and fair maidens for your kind words, except for King Arthur--of course. Will he never change?

That is undoubtedly a rendering of the infamous Green Knight. A very detailed depiction of that wretched beast. Powerful as he may be, his heart is full of trickery. Strong Sir Gawain proved his mighty worth by accepting a challenge from the most hideous thing on Earth. Noble Gawain risked his own neck and now he has every knight's admiration and respect. He faced the ink green knight without breaking a sweat, and now that horrid face we may all gladly forget!

Gah! Trickery and sorcery is all he brings to bear! He brought nothing but insults to Arthur's Court and made impossible demands on Arthur's Knights! And Gawain, our most noble, had to endure his and his wife's chicanery! The Devil take them both!
