Interesting

I find this to be an interesting account of what happened. Lancelot was deceiving Arthur, who trusted him, and I offered my assistance. Lancelot continued to lie, spoiling the notion of knighthood. Arthur clearly made a mistake with Lancelot. I think that this is how we should always be portrayed: Arthur being the victim of his own choices, and I giving what aid I can.
Poor Guinevere, though. She seems to be trapped in all of this, in my opinion.

Mordred,

I thank thee well for thy concern, but prithee, I never asked for thy sympathy nor want it now. When I was kidnapped by Meleagant and Lancelot rescued me, where wast thee? When I was shamed by trying on the short mantle, where wast thee? Thou hast never had a care for anyone but thyself. Why start now?

It should not matter to thee what Lancelot does. If he has sinned against the king, is it not for the king to decide what action to take? Let Arthur be a grown up and make decisions for himself. Besides, if he does get angry and choose to burn me at the stake, I know Lancelot will rescue me yet again. Please stay out of it!
